Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and Association

The freedom of peaceful assembly is defined as the right to gather and collectively express common goals. The right to association is the right to form or join an association.

The right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association can be restricted, but these restrictions must be provided for by law, are necessary to protect the interests of national security, public safety, public order, the protection of public health or morals or the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.
